2013 Giant TCR Advanced 0 Reviewed at A Road Bike 4U in Irvine!

The 2013 Giant TCR Advanced 0 is made out of T700 Carbon Fiber. It’s very special because the front end of the frame is made out of one piece when it comes out of the mold. The same is true of the seat stays and the chain stays. The benefit is that the bike is much smoother and stronger.

Sticking with the front end of the bike, Giant used their system called Overdrive 2. This means that the steering tube goes from 1 1/2 and tapers down to 1 1/4. This results in overall extra stiffness of 30% as opposed to tapering to a 1 1/8.

The geometry is what Giant calls endurance geometry. The bike has the rider in a more upright, stable position. The downtube is massive, and feeds in to a power core bottom bracket. 86mm wide, which allows the manufacturers to put the bearings directly inside the frame.

Giant an aerodynamic seatpost called the Vector. By having an aerodynamic seatpost, it allows a little more horizontal flex and it has a feature called auto-align, meaning it is always going to be perfectly aligned from front to rear.

We at A Road Bike 4U have this bike and want you to come to the store to take a test ride! We know you’re going to love it!
